This image was taken using only 1 F-14 Tomcat model, placed in 4 different positions to create the illusion of a formation.
I Set the shutter for manual control and used the bulb setting. I released the shutter and held it open with the model in the rear position and fired a remote flash to light the scene. The remote was fired a total of 4 times with the F-14 in a new position with each flash.
I imported the file in Photoshop and adjusted the level to darken the image.

Are these really flying or are they model planes? I think they are models. But I like the shot. I especially like the black background, but that's what makes me think they are models. Good shot. It's a 7 from me. PTL
