I like the ornament but the focus seems too soft.

Composition is okay. Work on your focus, and try using shallower DOF to blur the background elements that distract from the subject. Probably a lot of people will say this photo because it doesn't meet the challenge. Not too many people will agree that this is a "balloon."

The lack of focus is not good. Also the subject itself gets somehow lost in between the needles. Marked it 4 for these reasons.
