December 14th brought us unseasonal warmth and rain. The temperatures were in the 50s (F), which is about 30 degrees warmer than a standard day. It was accompanied by heavy downpours, all of which combined to saturate the air and provide cool fog cover.
On my way home from work, I stopped at our learning center which has this very nice landscaping which includes paths, trees, a bridge, and a pond. I figured I could use the fog to get some cool photos, not realizing that the lights from the office buildings would mix into the background.
What resulted was a photo that I really enjoy. The curves of the path, the reflections of the lights, the mysteriousness of the fog. It all comes together in one of my favorite shots for quite some time.
