Challenge: Trees III (Advanced Editing VII)
Collection: Challenges
Camera: Pentax K-x
Lens: Sigma 70-300mm f/4-5.6 APO DG Macro for Pentax
Date: Nov 28, 2011
Galleries: Landscape, Black and White
Date Uploaded: Nov 30, 2011

I always see this tree adjacent to the basketball centre that my son plays at, and always hoped to be able to enter it in a challenge. It was quite overcast the day I took this photo but I think the clouds add to the drama of it all.

Oh Anita, this is SO profound!! Could be the wilting before the end or hopefulness at the new dawning light. LOVE IT.

It is indeed the end, splendid, as if we ourselves are closing our eyes for the last time.

Very spooky image. The curve of the trunk fits well with the vignetting. 9
