 The Coconut palm tree was choose to represent age of family members due to its life span similar to human. In 19th century, it is in practice by rural farmers to plant a palm seed around their house to mark the arrival of a newborn baby.

I like this. Imposing in their apparent fragility. Perhaps I would have liked it better with the light coming from the front and the long shadows extending from the trunks. But that would have been a different shot entirely, I suppose.

Clever title and image to go with it. I like the grouping and the perspective and for me the lens distortion is working for you here.

Nicely exposed, good sharpness, nice perspective; however, the image doesn't say 'family', even with the title.
