 As we were heading away from Fort Holmes back to the primary fort we took a secondary path that lead to these stairs. I was quite taken with the simple organized beauty of the stairs surrounded by trees with light filtering down from above.

This shot wasn't very easy to take as I was unable to pull out my tripod and set it up on the fairly small path, plus there were a number of other tourists walking up and down these steps. Out of the three shots I took, this one ended up looking the best.

A few years ago I spent an ElderHostel week on this pleasant island and enjoyed every minute of it. (I flew in on a light plane in bad weather, and while I have wished for a longer runway a few times in my life, this was the first time I wished for a wider runway) That aside, this stair picture is a good one - and yes, I know where it is - you did the dappled light/shade beautifully and excellent composition (IMO). The boats and the horses pictures seem a bit busy. The boat with the fishtail is good but perhaps one of your other pics will show the Grand Hotel at a better angle. It is a glorious sight!
