An early season snowstorm prematurely clobbered the fall colors on October 26, 2011.
At higher elevations, our fall colors peaked at the end of September, so only remnants remain and I had to travel "down the hill" to lower elevations to find this. Then, the snow has been falling at 3 day intervals. It's okay, but I doubt this image will do well in a challenge with many beautiful autumn colors in deciduous trees.
