Shot is from Victoria Falls, Zambia. October / November is part of the dry season so there's very little water, hence the wet rock face not covered by a "blanket of water". You were able to walk across / in the river Zambezi, as long as you watch out for sudden water outbursts. These two guys are standing at the "center" of the 1.7km wide falls - a trip a later made myself. The falls are 111 meters high.
Split toning, vignetting, and sharpening done in pp. Rest is as captured.

Magnificent. Reminds me of "The Mission", with Robert DeNiro. I've never seen split toning work this well before. What a great technique for this image. Congrats on the top 10.
Looks like an insignificant little person up there ... contemplating that deep, dark chasm. Interesting light and shadow. I almost expect to hear a voice from the heavens or screams from below. This image certainly got my imagination going!
OMG.....my reoccuring nightmare from a sideways perspective!.....I was scared to look up and see there really actually were people up there...on the brink......super shot...blow away scale...fantastic lighting! Where is this?
