Street candid in South Korea. although limited time for me to take photo as i'm on vacation. We're going to insadong and i saw this man coming my way. Just lucky enough that i always put my 85 mm for the streets shoot.

I'm going through the entries, stopping at those images I feel have had the benefit of an unconventional eye and dwelling a little longer to try to see and appreciate what you saw. This is one of those images.
Positives: Simply stunning - candid portraits simply don't get better than this. Pristine focus and wonderful isolation of subject. I really like your toning too. His expression is priceless, but your capture is better.
Critical stuff: Just that fleck on his jacket lapel... I can see why you might want to keep it authentic though.
Overall: I hope this takes the Blue. It just might too.
Wonderful capture of the age/character/determination in this portrait.
Desaturation is a good idea on the shot, although I would've preferred a warmer sepia tone myself.
For a street shot, the background is nicely defocused.
All in all, a keeper in my book.
