Visited Bushkill falls this weekend because I was told that the fall foliage there was at the peak color for the season. After traveling roughly two hours with a start time of 4AM, I was dissapointed that the color was less than ideal. We did however go up to photograph waterfalls AND foliage, so at least the waterfalls were super flowing due to the previous nights rain.
I chose this shot (and shot it this way purposely) because I loved how the 2 sets of rocks were framing the falls. I've been to these falls many times, and never realized the framing until this day. I also love how the lower half of the photo leads your eyes into the frame. I was debating between black and white or color, and ultimately kept seeing myself going back to the color version.
This is my first entry in sometime, I hope that it does well. Other than some minor level changes and a crop, nothing was edited.
