 Took these shots on a backpacking trip in the Ritter Range of the High Sierras. These were shot w/in 100 ft of our campsite. It was pure chance that I took both a day and night shot of the same scene :) Merged the photos together, and tweaked levels, contrast, saturation in PSCS4.

A bit of star trailing in the MW so it's not perfectly sharp, but that mountain is beautiful. Might have been more impressive with a greater night/day differential.
