Another reminder of my 1980's trip (to Hong Kong). Relatives were telling me how modern Hong Kong was. They took me to visit a relative in a new high rise apartment. I had to use the rest room, saw the squat hole... Hmm, this ain't modern... (all from a western (US) perspective...)
