Sorry about the typo guys! I was copying & pasting the text on various images, and the only thing I can figure is while in the text box on this one I accidently hit the backspace button because it's the only one with the typo (figures). Thanks for not beating me up too bad about it.
For Johanna... This is what the original, uncropped raw file looked like. This was taken at the Academy of Natural Science butterfly room. They have a separate section for the chrysalis'. This butterfly hadn't "dried" yet. LOL! Anyway, processing was very simple. Various topaz's were used. Infocus for sharpness, detail & adjust in various modes, then I used the freebie from FilterForge - vibrance mode. All the colors were already there, they just needed to be brought out.
