Decided to take this self-portrait type shot of myself photographing the drying tulips. Unfortunately a friend has my tripod, so it's hand held and a bit shaky. I wanted to smooth it out and make it look artsy, so I actually applied the Dust and Scratches filter at a radius of 26 and a Threshold of 23 to obtain this effect. I like the way it looks and expresses in more ways than one what I do from day to day...

While the focus is on the person (you?) with the camera, the "subject" seems as if it should be the flowers. I see what you were doing here, but I'm sorry, it doesn't seem to work for me. Add the glare from the window behind and the slight fuzziness (I believe from the mirror), not good. 6 Swash
A very interesting effect here. Very painterly. The overexposure at the window behind you makes me cringe, though, and steals useful tonal range from the rest of the image.
