2 pictures taken side by side -+ 6cm apart. Crop and process with Topaz adjust. More details later if requested and if not DQ'd. I did enjoy experimenting with this.

I still stand by my FANFREAKINGTASTIC... I guess more people couldn't see this, cause you don't deserve this score!! I fave'd it so I can come back and entertain myself all thru the day!! BTY after about 15 mins of crossed eyes and getting lost in the photo I do get a headache!! So worth it though!! LOL
Many thanks to everybody who tried to see my 3D.
I know not everybody will be able to do it. So I expected the score I eventually ended up. No problem, I have been greatly compensated by the comments I received. It was worth the low score. Special the person who saw “god” in my picture. My wife and I had great fun to read all of them.
And now how I’ve done it. Probably most of you have done similar things, but for the few who don’t know.
First I made a small sliding platform on the tripod. Take 2 photos, moving the camera on my platform. Horizontal camera movement in this case was about 5 cm. The rule is, the closer the main object the less the move. Important is, to point the camera in exactly the same direction.
Then cut away anything not needed in both pictures. Making sure the edge is the same in 3D view.
Place next to each other and voila, you have a 3D picture.
Many thanks and happy squinting.
I'v e done a lot of this stuff including imagery interpretation in the US Army. But this image is too large for any normal person to perform this feat except with an old stereocoptic viewer. So I tried. Still to large. Printed and reduced to 1/3 size might work in a viewer or less to make is work manually.. er.. visually. Nice try for the challenge.
OK totaly freaky... I love these things and never have seen on done with actual photography so if I could give you a 20 for a FANTASTIC JOB I would... sigh they only let me go 10... (added later) grabbed hubs this morning to look at this, he can't cross eyes so he can't see it! I hope everyone on dpc can get her seen, it's just too fantastic!! I can get my finger behind the nose picking gnome!!
fool the viewer or make a fool of the viewer, decided you're going for the latter, I could be wrong but judging this based on all the other normal criteria. It's not a very strong image to me, nothing to really grab my attention or make me look longer at the picture. The repeated image distracts me even if there is a trick to be had by staring at it.
Came back and bumped this up as there's some mischievous humor and creativeness to the image.
So, I have tried for 5 minutes to get the 3D effect, and the result is my eyes hurt and I didn't see anything. But thankyou for keeping me entertained.
