This is the first picture I took with my new Canon EOS-300D Rebel. These flowers were sitting on my kitchen table where I was opening my gigantic package from Amazon.com, and I figured why not?
After taking the photo, I did some minor editing on Adobe Photoshop 7.0. There were some small, distracting dark spots on the petals that I cloned out and when I switched the photo to grey-scale, I slightly adjusted the levels to bring on the highlights and shadows.
