One of the most difficult session's ever for me. Trying to control three dogs (including their movements and expressions), a cat (keeping him still so he won't run-away), and a camera (probably should have brought my tripod) proved rather difficult. Had fun though shooting these....have some really wacky out-takes. :O)
So these are my three dogs and yes my old cat named BigOne (he is seventeen). He is the coolest cat ever, and nothing bothers him. My larger dog (Piper) knows how to 'creep' forward.....so I had her creep towards the camera. I had the middle dog (Brandy) tethered on a leash to her, so when Piper lowered her head, so did Brandy. Then there is Opal (in the back)....who was being a good girl and following my command of stay....she is just a puppy, and she is always curious to see what the other two dogs are doing.
Thanks for the votes and comments. My second yellow ribbon EVER....yeah!!! Go team Flaming Pixels!!

This really is spectacular. As Susan said, the animal wrangling alone is amazing. Then you put it together so well to tell a hysterical story. Very well done!
This is brilliant. Had thought that you might have been amazing fortunate to have happened along this and what a great capture that would have been. Well done to have actually set it up. Love it. Congrats on your placing.
Wow, I am in awe of the animal wrangling you did here, and great idea getting the big dog to lead the 2nd dog, lol! And what a great cat, putting it up with it all :-) Congrats on the yellow!
With so many blues and reds, it's fun to see you excited about a yellow :)
Love the shot. I do wish this was a higher scoring challenge. The top three are easily 7+ shots. I mean has anyone seen something like this? meant in a good way of course.
I so love to hear the story behind the photo. This is awesome. I wish now I had taken the time to go through this challenge and vote. Awesome shot and congratulations on your ribbon.
The fact that you set this up makes it even more impressive, I thought you had spotted the poor cat being stalked and got the shot.
You forgot your disclaimer though, "no animals were harmed during this production"
Love the shot and congrats on the ribbon.
this is too funny, love how they are sneaking up on the cat who seems not to have a care in the world, wonder how you got those dogs to pose like that, fantastic
Duke whispered: "Slowly guys....very, very slowly......."
