I absconded with some sand from work intending to shoot one of the myriad of small shells I had and have done with it. But I was outside smoking this morning and when I came in there was this dead dragonfly by the front door. Hmmmm I said...so scooped it up and went in. Set up the studio lights, put the sand on some paper with a piece of blue construction paper in the back and set the shell on the sand and the deceased dragonfly on the shell. That's all. It may not fly, pardon the pun, the picture that is. We know the dragonfly won't cause it is no more. Later.
