Another of my favorite flowers, for multiple reasons. They're low maintenance, cheerfully bloom all summer long, seed prolifically so they come back year after year, and the original seeds were given to me by a dear friend who passed away several years ago.
Love the little bits of shadow on the petals. The dreamy creamy BG is in beautiful contrast to the crispness of the blossom. It's wonderful to keep a garden, with the gifts from friends/gardeners and the volunteers brought by the birds to grow in odd corners. I miss my old garden.
Gorgeous, Mary. I love the brilliant colours and the soft repeats in the background bokeh. I love cosmos, too. They were a favourite of my mother's so I associate them with her.
