Wonderful image of the butterfly and the milkweed. I was wondering if I could plant some milkweed to draw butterflies as monarch butterflies are on the decline because of the loss of this plant. Is it hard to grow?

I'm always impressed by butterfly wings & this superb shot shows them off perfectly. Showing the milkweed decorated with one of its favorite customers is perfect--great shot of the milkweed, too! "D

Love the backlighting in this one. Those big wing bugs do love anything in the milkweed family.

Gorgeous, Mary! The butterfly is so beautifully lit and contrasted with the background.

Nice Swallowtail; butterflies are difficult to get sharply (to me).
