 was out in the park with my boy and my old 20d and an old lense and snapped this while feeding the ducks. made b/w in aperture.

I think this is a good capture. Two things to check out in this photo. I think you were bold in getting this candid without attracting attention however I would have to say to get closer for better effect. Also the rule of thirds would be a good compositional technique here putting the man in the left hand third and allowing the line of the path to take you trough the photo. All in all it is good but could be improved.
