 I'm new to nighttime photography, but I just read a book about the topic so this challenge came at a good time. I tried several compositions in my back yard, but none of them came out any good. Then I saw these great reflections and patterns in the rain water on my wooden terrace. The picture actually consists of 9 exposures from 1s to 4min, then combined using LR/enfuse to get a nice dynamic range.

Gogeous reflections on a walk or a deck - Water can add so much to a photo. Nice balance between the light and dark and the splashes of color.

I see scary faces on the left- the lines look like knives or cold steel blades. I am generally freaked out by this shot.
