This was my July - HOT! Even the perpetual-motion-machine Swallows were taking breaks. Loved the picturesque tree they were perching on and the natural vignette.

Had the 2x teleconverter on.

PP - tonemapped in qtpfsgui (pregamma 0.697, mantiuk method, contrast mapping 0.1, saturation factor 1.029, detail factor 1), lightened and merged with original at 10% transparency, cropped, color balance shift into red/orange, desaturated white bits of Swallows, levels and more levels, increased contrast, cloned out tonemapping smudge above one bird and a few specks of dust, sharpened, resized, sharpened with noise reduction, added border.

I've heard it's been hot in parts of America, my son just recently got back from OKL, where it was close to the 100's e.day and even over.

Anyway I like this, it's very artistic.

I like how everything is monochromatic orange. Even though it's a picture with mostly water, I can feel the heat.
