Straighforward. Good use of DOF between the face and the magnifying glas.. However the focus on the plant on the lower left hand is awkward, and in fact, I think the plant in itself detracts from the image as a whole.
Out of focus fingers are very distracting. Composition is dead centered (review rule of thirds) and lighting is harsh. Background items (fronds) are very distracting.
GOod for you. An entry that actually depicts a sense. Nice going. The palms in the lower left are a touch distracting, but I'm giving you A for effort. :)
