Challenge: Pattern IV (Minimal Editing I)
Collection: Challenges 2011
Camera: Canon EOS-7D
Lens: Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM Macro
Location: Front yard of the house I just left
Date: Jul 19, 2011
Aperture: f/4.5
ISO: 250
Shutter: 1/320
Date Uploaded: Jul 21, 2011

Spider's web, morning mist, bright sunshine, missed focus. Well, intentionally missed focus. I liked the pattern formed by the bokeh even better than that of the focused web.

very pretty light and bokeh - nice! There's an awful lot of contrast for minimal editing too!

Amazing use of bokeh. It really creates a magical feel. A pastel palette would have aided in that feel.

Interesting, abstract and different as far as POV goes.. I also like the lighting and the beautiful bokeh.

Nice shot, however the "pattern" doesn't really grab my attention.
