The warmth and intimacy are clearly inspired by Ben. The background elements are a bit distracting to the child's profile, but I appreciate the honesty of it all.

Lovely portait, shadows and lighting, the unusual shapes in the background and such a serious expression. My only minor criticism is I feel that the object in the background next to the nose interferes with the composition a bit.
