This is my Free Study entry from 06/2010 The original was an HDR image of 3 images combined in Photomatix. At the time spiritualspatula had said the clouds were overdone and would like to have seen it at a different angle.
This time around it is taken as a single 30 second night exposure as a vertical, and lit by the up lights around the base. These are actually 3 huge brick towers in Red Square at the University of Washington, Seattle.

I don't know if I'm looking at the correct original -- but if I am, I like the perspective of the original better, but the lighting and the processing of the take II much better. I had given this an 8, and if I'm looking at the right original, I gave that a 7.
