Have to tell a story. My cat cornered one of these guys a couple years ago. The chipmunk stood up on it's hind legs and started boxing. The cats head went back in bewilderment as the guy proceeded to punch. The little guy even had some footwork. When the cat was completely confused the chipmunk ran off leaving him sitting there with this astounded expression. You could almost hear what the cat was thinking,'What the heck was that all about.'
Ever since that day my cat gives chipmunks the right of way. |
