These types of photos need something more in my opinion. Get my attention by getting a shot of someone heading the ball or a celebration after a goal. The players look intense that's for sure, but unfortunately this one does not do it for me. But then again that is just my opinion. Hope that helped...
I'm really not seeing this being super useful as a Calendar shot. I think it's due to the background. All of the people in the background who are not players are looking away from the game, obviously (to me) there is something more interesting over there.
