This is the laziest shot ever from my holidays in Scotland, but ironically I feel it is also the best one. I took this just after getting up through the window of our hotel room!
Practically no editing, except the black and white conversion and cropping some of the uninteresting sky at the top, giving the panoramic format.
It's actually my first entry in a free study. I missed the deadline for the minimalistic landscape :(

Reminds me of a bicycle trip I took down the Mosel River in Germany back in the early 80's. We'd camped out overnight and in the morning were treated to a very similar scene as we headed off down the river.
A blast from the past always gets extra pointage from me.
