In a landscape photo, what is required? Land only? Is it possible to suggest the land by the details of the sky? The colors of the sky? Suggesting the land by using the sky is what makes this a minimalist landscape to me. Otherwise it's just an ordinary landscape.
Looking at this, can you imagine being on your back in the grass, daydreaming at the clouds? Lying flat on the earth, looking up at the blue heavens. In summer. Maybe some dandelions, maybe a distant tree. Playing hookey from life.

This image got robbed. The subtle details in the clouds are breathtaking. This image draws so much attention to the amazing amount of shades of blue in the sky. Honestly, it partly looks like a painting. The composition moves like an undulation. It's gorgeous.
