7.44 with 8 votes. Will this simple shot be my first ribbon?

7.25 with 12 votes. 5 comments. Nearly uncharted waters for me. Only my Backyard Lizard did as good.

After looking over the shots, mine should be top 10.

6.44 with 128 votes. I'll have to average 7.1 over the next 30 votes to get back to the 6.6 range. No ribbon for this !

6.3571 with 238 votes. Had a low at one point of 6.29 and took a while to climb out of that hole. Climbed today but I believe that most of the good entries are climbing. So....all is about the same.
Thanks for your comment and vote. The crop did bother me a bit. However, on the yellowish hue...I looked on three computers prior to entering and it looks quite gray/white with no yellow. I'm wondering if others saw yellow also ?
Thanks again,

I really enjoyed this shot, and the creativity and prep work that went into it. I voted it a 7. For me what kept the score from being a bit higher is that the yellowish hue in the fridge is less than attractive. A more pure/whiter color would have made things look a little more crisp. I also wish the crop was a bit more symmetrical, maybe by cropping the left side a bit.
the breathing room at the top is nice, and I like the items in the drawer, they help to anchor the laptop to the fridge.

The voting avgs usually go down after turnover. Tis the DPC way ;)
Some might just tag their favorite shots but not vote on min. 20%. That's my theory on the scores dropping.
But a top10 finish should be celebrated.
