Love the clarity and the deep, rich reds in this photo! Congrats on the ribbon and a new PB Janine!!! A red for a red:-) Also want to mention the angle of the petals is appealing too for they fan out as leading lines from the bottom left towards the composition center.

Well, the 'Lady' was 'Gold' in a recent challenge. I can see no reason why this would not get another 'Blue'. Excellent find, excellent entry, excellent process and edit.

Beautifully crisp and glossy.

Brilliant red...very nice.

Janine, this is really lovely. I love how shiny the lady bug is, as though all polished up for a hot date. Or just vain :-)
Post actions
Wow, wow, wow!!! I love everything about this photo!!! Great capture! 10

I'm not quite sure what to think of this. So incredibly sharp and crisp, and the lady is so metallic, it all almost doesn't look real! But, I still love it! A lot. Just fantastic!

Gorgeous shot. Should be worth a ribbon.
Post actions
Excellent focus. Amazing colors! the cropping of the entire picture is different, but I like it.

Gorgeous... a bit heavy on the processing of the petals but still a gorgeous image. Well done!

The contrast and saturation of the red color give this a more sultry, seductive look. It did however serve to make the ladybug look glassy and sort of unnatural. Still gets high marks in my book.
Post actions
Looks like a painting. Very pretty. The ladybird looks a little artificial..perhaps a little over processed.
