I'd been meaning to find an interesting subject for this challenge all week but have always been busy in the evenings after work, so come Tuesday night I get home with about an hour of sunlight left, it's cloudy, windy, and all the flowers in my garden (which looked fantastic last week) are dead except for one.
Not expecting particularly high marks for this challenge, but I worked with what I had and am happy with the end result. Hopefully the lack of colour in a challenge to shoot flowers will stand out a little =).

Thanks Niall (and everyone else for your comments). I'm perfectly happy with this score for this image, I knew it wouldn't score highly, I actually guessed it'd be around 4.8 at the start of the challenge. And I guess since you beat me by .1 in the last challenge it's fair I beat you by .1 this time =).
Lovely tones, and shapes, and textures in this. Not surprised about the score considering all the happy sunshine in garden images that scored well, but you beat me! :)
Oh boy, I had to search the meaning of it:
"There are about 19 different species of bumblebee (and six species of cuckoo bumblebees) found in the UK, 66 in Europe and around 250 in the world."
I thought that we were dealing with a carnivore plant.
Very nice ruffle and ripple of the image, independently of the Field of Flowers ...
