Lovely image Leo. Your wife is beautiful, and did a great job putting up with you! One nit pick...the leash! It must weigh more than the cat in the dog costume, and who walks a cat on a leash anyway? ;)
Oh jeez - I could post my thoughts about light, solar characteristics, the curvature of the earth and how all that makes me doubt that she is heading west or I could ask you for the long form GPS report with actual satellite photo to prove that she is actually heading west, OR I could say "Great photo, Leo! Congrats on the excellent score and the near-top ten finish!" Hmmm, decisions decisions...
See; I recently joined the Coffee Arabic party, a group that copied the Tea Party ideals, and for my initiation I have to come up with some really silly doubts to prove worthy to join the chapter of the Tea Party/Coffee Arabica.

She must be heading South or North depending on the time of the shot, It feel like Sunrise so I will say she is definitely Heading NORTH.
Between the spring and fall equinoxes, the sun sets in the northwest in the northern hemisphere, so it makes sense it'd be off to the left side of the image at sunset:

a bit of a contrast vs my cliche of west picturing say a cowboy riding into the sunset, I did not expect a lady in fancy shoes with a tiny dog and carrying a large bag, maybe west is not so far after all, mayeb she has already walked a long distance on that road
Great use of that lovely golden hour light. I’m really liking the story this image is telling me. The suitcase is a nice touch. Well done and good luck.
This is a great photo. I love everything about this. Fits the challenge well. Tells a story. Is very interesting. Exposed well. Hope to see this ribbon as it is my favorite in this challenge. 10
Hmmm....something is not right with this photo....oh I know...she would have gotten a ride in about 14 seconds ! Good take on challenge. However, I'm willing to bet some people complain about the light coming from the "left. You get a high score from me though.
