I really like the golden colour of the duckling emphasised by the golden hour. I’m assuming you’ve used a rather wide aperture which resulted in the nose being in more focus than the eye. If that eye was in better focus I feel this would have made the image much more special. I do like the smooth water and the ripple effects around the duckling.

Although the duck looks a little moved (check it out in the eye) it gives the sensation that he's moving across the water. Simple but really nice.
