This reminds me of a short in Disney's Fantasia, where the seeds come alive and skirt over the ice. It's beautiful!

Good idea (shows you understand the light :) and good execution. Simple composition, but not striking for some reason. Golden reflection attracts me more because of the combination of sharpness at the touch point and then painterly lines to the left. Don't know what to do to dircet focus there more.
