My son and girlfriend as we were looking for a playground.
Messed a bit with the exposure, brightness and contrast here and there, fixed vignetting, resized sharpened and saved.
First time I used Gimp so the editing is nothing near acceptable.

Subject makes for an interesting subject, but the placement of your models tends to make them the focus of the photo. Perhaps having the child playing "peek-a-boo" from behind the fence would make it seem less staged, with just his head peeking out?
