After checking the sun orientation, sunset and low tide times, I found a place on the coast when all of these were happening together. I wanted low tide on a long flat beach, so that the sand would create lots of reflections.
Once there, I pre-broke wooden planks, nailed them accordingly on a structure, which I buried in the sand. Then I just waited for the sun, did some jumps, and here it is.

The wide angle makes it look like you're very high above the beach.

The perspective was also specifically modified (the lens was shifted vertically) in order to give even more this flying impression, I'm glad it worked well. Love this lens.
I get the feeling that if people put such a thorough effort into everything they did (as you do in these images), the world would be a more amazing place.

Too fake looking. Just give me a shot of a good old metal fence without the special effects. Sorry to say but I voted last night and could only give a ten!
EDIT: There is one other that will likely beat this. You have the edge on creativity but the other has the edge on quality. You photo has some very good quality also. I'm just not sure it can muscle to #1. This should be a top 3 for sure.
The first image I get to vote on and I feel I'm already looking at a ribbon winner. You've gone beyond the concept of taking a photo of a fence and created a wonderful story with the perfect surroundings. This is the sort of effort that leads me to feel this is gyaban. This is really appreciated and impressive and gets full marks from me. Well done!
