 I set my camera on a tripod with timer. Used a butane lighter and filled the top with that heavier-than-air gass which I then lit on fire right as the shutter went off.

With this title, it would have been neat had you been able to convince the flame to split into two.

on a formal side, the edges of the glass feel a bit soft focused, and i'm not terribly fond of the crop

Flame is overexposed but I like the blue part of it and the tilt.
