Challenge: Free Study 2011-04 (Advanced Editing VII)
Camera: Canon EOS-50D
Lens: Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM
Location: East Oahu
Date: Apr 9, 2011
Aperture: f/7.1
ISO: 100
Shutter: 139 seconds
Galleries: Seascapes
Date Uploaded: Apr 27, 2011

Taken on the same day as my warm colors entry . I doubt it will do as well but I do like how this one turned out.

Tonemapped in photomatix, then finished processing in PhotoTools Free, Nik Software, CS3 and Topaz. I know many will probably not like the processing but I wanted it to be something very different from your normal, pretty scenic photo.

A study in dodge and burn? A little too much for my taste, but I imagine it's doing well for you.

I love how the sky and coastline create that V on the left. Lovely and very moody.
