nice detail in the wing. seems a tad flat as far as lighting.

Very nice capture with enough detail to make it most interesting. I would have loved a bit more contrast...bumping this image ftom 5 to 7. Good work.

NOt sure what the situation was when you did this pic but maybe a faster shutter speed or a tripod would help with the shake.6

nice effort, but unfortunately, it doesn't work for me. i've taken a ton of these pictures, thinking that it was an opportunity i didn't want to miss, only to say to myself later, 'damn, that background just doesn't work' or 'damn, my focus just missed.' and then i say, 'oh well, maybe next time.' and i go out in the yard on my hands and knees, looking for more creepy crawly things...good luck!

Good capture of the bug. Lighting (flat without defining shadows) and setting could be improved to raise you score.

Shot a wasp on the run? Could use more motion in the sand then (or none at all).. looks oddly unsharp atm. Wings are sharp!

A nice capture, there is a little bit of blur on the upper third of the bug. It looks a tad bit underexposed as well. I like the detail you caught in the wings.
