Editing: Crop, levels, clone out windchime, burn gravel and bricks, dodge ristra, select doors with wand and redo levels and contrast on door only, resize, sharpen, reselect doors and sharpen more, save for web.
Taken in Taos, New Mexico. We go there often as it is only 60 miles away and our son lives there. This is a traditional Taos style entry with blue doors and a wall.

wonderful colors... the composition would have been stronger is the door was open or even slightly open, inviting the spectator in rather than shutting them out. 8
Lovely photo. I might have liked more if the doors were less centered, but the objects on either side are complementary nonetheless. The colours are fantastic - 9
This would have been more effective to me if you had cropped off the foreground and the light under the door. Also maybe take it from a different view so the door wasn't right in the middle of the photo. I like the subject and it fits the challenge.
Good subject, but may suffer a little from having a few distractions in the image
A tighter crop of just the big door and the small "window" type door to the right against the plain background but including the wooden lintels, would give it more impact for me. Nice pic though..good luck...7
