I really like the bold petals against the darkness. The ant is a bit small to notice, but a nice touch. Perhaps you could bumo the red saturation to make it stand out more? Wish the whole flower were in focus.
The stark contrast between black and yellow makes an interesting abstract pattern. Nice use of negative space. But not enough to compete with the other bugs and flowers. Good attempt but tough tough competition.
