I realized that all wouldnot understand my pic since I was unable to explain what the whole concept of faith meant.Now let me explain- this is a picture taken at the pious banks of river Ganga at the most religious place of worship for the Hindus at Haridwar( Gateway to Lord's Home) Prayers are offered to the Godess, Ganga with flowers and lighting lamps and leaving the lamps in the holy water of the river.The cans in the photograph are those sold there for the devotees to collect the holy water and take it home, to be used as God's gift.This photograph was taken by me keeping in view that the people of various colors,caste and creed come here with the faith to pray and get solitude. |
