I saw this little guy walking across my garage floor so I scooped him up in a jar and placed him in my "studio" :P He was a very willing subject and only tried to hop away twice.
Shot under all natural lighting through a window. Post editing included levels and contrast adjustment. Some cropping was done too.

It's a close-up and focused but there's something lacking in interest here. I think if you're depth of field were almost complete from front to back this would look very good indeed. I also feel that filling the frame more (still offset to right) would involve the viewer more. Dark areas look a bit too burned and indistinct.
Another hopper, but the specific subject and comp are below par compared to other attempts in this challenge. With the plain white background, the focus would need to be razor sharp to pull this off. A bit deeper DOF would have helped, too. And a bit more defining shadows.
