Why a 5 not a 6: For the most part this is a Great image. Composition is good, it tells a story for me. The flash washed out the colors pretty much in the lower third of the image. You have red eye flash issues in her eyes. Mostly lighting issues for me. A good B&W treatment would had done well for this shot.

Full frontal flash really ate you shot here. Interesting framing, good subject, nice colors, but the flash eats all the textures and subtleties.
