I really like the details and lighting. To me, the Edward Weston style of still life have a background the is completely unobtrusive (e.g. none of those wrinkles showing), but I'm not style expert.
The you have captured your subjects, form isn't the star it needs to be to echo Weston. Maybe tight cropping on the underside of the toadstool on the left would work better. Very brave to submit in color :).
