I'm not happy with the focus of this shot. It feels like a shot that depends on it being sharply in focus and just isn't. Also the glare in the eye seems unlucky as I think that also detracts. The wing position and spots on the wing are just awesome. Great subject!
I love that photography gives us a chance to see what we wouldn't have otherwise. I had no idea that they had polka-dot wings! How cool is that! (just looking, not voting)
