Taken at Pacific Beach. I went out for a few hours and got lots of bird photos, some of which even came out ok. This wasn't my favorite, but was the most dramatic. I over-sharpened as I am wont to do. The gull was in a bank, but I rotated the image about 15 degrees to level him off. The background is an overcast sky (a storm was coming in and it was *very* windy). Thanks for your views, votes, and comments!

I loved this at first. The alignment is fantastic. Then, after reading the title I looked more carefully and not I can't fight the sensation that I am looking straight up at a dive bomber -- and I swear I can feel that bird falling out of the sky right at me. Love it.
